About GP Recycle
GP Recycle is a free, unofficial search tool for Grameenphone’s published recycled (permanently deactivated) number notices. It was built to save people from scrolling through hundreds of PDFs when they need a quick answer: “Was this GP number ever reclaimed?”
Who built this
The site is maintained by Adnan Siddiqui, an independent developer based in Bangladesh. It is a personal project — not a company product and not affiliated with Grameenphone. Questions, corrections, or privacy requests can be sent to adnansiddiqui.dev@gmail.com (also listed on the privacy page).
What the tool does
You enter a Grameenphone number; we tell you whether it appears on any indexed recycled-number notice, when it was listed, and which official PDF it came from. The underlying data is Grameenphone’s own public list — we do not invent, guess, or alter numbers. For technical details on ingestion and updates, see the sources page.
What the tool does not do
We cannot tell you whether a number is available to buy today, reactivate a line, or speak to Grameenphone on your behalf. A “not found” result does not prove a number was never recycled. For legal limitations and affiliation, see the disclaimer.
Guides beyond the search box
The checker answers one question well, but recycled numbers touch security, buying second-hand SIMs, BTRC policy, and other operators. We publish in-depth guides on those topics so the site is useful even when you are not running a search.

How the checker works
Enter a number
Type any Grameenphone number — with or without +880, spaces, or a leading zero.
Check the list
We look it up against the published recycled-number notices in an instant.
See the details
If it’s listed, you’ll see when it appeared and which official notice it came from.
Where the data comes from
Everything here is built from Grameenphone’s own public recycled number list. We don’t add, guess, or alter numbers — we only make the already-published lists searchable.
